The Dolby Theatre, formerly the Kodak Theatre, is a live entertainment theater located in the heart of Hollywood, on Hollywood Boulevard. Since its opening in 2001, the theater has been the permanent home for the annual Academy Awards ceremonies.

The venue features one of the largest stages in the United States and has a seating capacity of more than 3,000 people.

During the year, there are a number of different events at the Dolby Theatre, including live concerts, awards shows, operas, musicals, and symphony performances. Since 2011, the Dolby Theatre has also been the home of the Cirque de Soleil show, Iris.

Past concerts at the Dolby Theatre include performances by Christina Aguilera, Mariah Carey, Beyoncé Knowles, and Alicia Keys. Other notable events that were held at the theater include the ESPY Awards, the Miss USA pageant, several American Idol finales, and the Emmy Awards.
