Angel Stadium of Anaheim, commonly referred to as ‘The Big A,’ has served as the home ballpark to Major League Baseball’s Los Angeles Angels since its opening in 1966.
With a capacity of almost 46,000 people, Angel Stadium has hosted multiple MLB All-Star Games, as well as the 2002 World Series, in which the Angels defeated the San Francisco Giants to win the franchise’s first championship.
In addition to the professional sporting events at Angel Stadium, the venue regularly hosts high school and college football games, National Football League pre-season games, and musical concerts (past notable acts include The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, and The Who).
Several acclaimed movies were also filmed at Angel Stadium, including Taking Care of Business, the Disney remake of Angels in the Outfield, and Air Bud: Seventh Inning Fetch.
