The Los Angeles Angels, or Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, are a Major League Baseball (MLB) team that plays games at Angels Stadium of Anaheim. The stadium was built in 1966, renovated in 1998, and has a seating capacity of 64,593. The team was originally founded in 1961. Angels games are always an exciting affair as they pit themselves against rivals in the Western Division of the American League. A league stalwart, the Angels are winners of a World Series and multiple division titles while featuring baseball greats such as Tim Salmon, Rod Carew, Nolan Ryan, Jimmie Reese, and future hall of famer Albert Pujols. Angels tickets are always easy to come by as they can usually be purchased at the ballpark on game days.
