Los Angeles sports fans are often accused of being the fair weather variety, however, the city seems to always bleed purple and gold for Lakers basketball or white and blue for Dodgers baseball.

The two major teams aside, the city also plays host to many more sports, including basketball with the Clippers, hockey with the Kings, a second baseball team with the Angels, soccer with the Galaxy, major golf and tennis tournaments, and of course big time college rivals the UCLA Bruins and USC Trojans who fight every year for a berth in the annual Rose Bowl game.

With such a winning history, it’s hard to determine who in Los Angeles might be a band wagon fan or not, but either way, sports in LA is a year round activity and yet another reason for Angelenos to get out of their houses.
