Autumn Lights 2012 Description

Autumn Lights - Arts Festival | Show | Special Event in Los Angeles.

Since 2005, Angelenos and fans of light art have come to the annual Autumn Lights in Los Angeles. Hosted at Pershing Square for a Saturday in September, Autumn Lights brings out the best light artists in Los Angeles and from around the world, including countries like Mexico and Germany.

This free multimedia spectacle attracts a crowd of over 15,000 people with elaborate light art installations, interactive art experiences, soundscapes, and live music. Featured artists at Autumn Lights have included the Los Angeles Art Collective, Mark Walsh, James Fader, and Ashley Gibbons.

There are no tickets to the free Autumn Lights event at Pershing Square. However, the more popular installations tend to attract big crowds, so come early to really digest each piece. Before the lights go out at 1am, celebrate the show and get an elevated view with the artists you just met at the popular rooftop bars around Pershing Square.
