Boasting a grade-A late-night dining scene and an impressive list of adventurous cocktails, the lounge at STK is a swanky destination for jet-setters and entertainment industry insiders.

An open-air atrium decked out in black crocodile and wood and highlighted by hanging vines, the space welcomes upscale business types and internationals stopping in before or after dinner in the restaurant, as well as clutches of stylish clubbers winding up for an evening of dancing at nearby WeHo hotspots.

Well-dressed patrons bathed in the purple glow of the backlit display of liqueur bottles savor specialty cocktails at the bar, or perch on upholstered stools around spindly tables to flirt and chat.

A smoking area provides a place for guests to both conquer their cravings and hobnob with the other attractive pre-club-goers.

Not just any old meat market, STK tastefully seasons its social scene with a dash of sophistication and a low-key California twist.

There’s no excuse for not trying the wildly creative cocktails here. All the drinks are made with fresh, hand-prepared ingredients like muddled strawberries, sliced grapes, and blackberries. The Strawberry Cobbler Cocktail is one of their best.

Small plates of meat and seafood available during Happy Hour M–F 6–8pm and Su 6–11pm. Restaurant menu features salads, raw shellfish, grilled meats, and fish. Half off all glasses and bottles of wine on Sundays. Bottle service.

Lindsey Sugimoto Nov 20, 2012 4.0 stars In Love Let me just start with the steaks are amazing ! The menu has the option of adding a variety of toppings and sauces to your steak, which is awesome. In addition, they serve a bread that is very unique and makes you crave it after you leave. In terms of the venue, it is a very cool atmosphere. They have a bar right when you walk in, which you can also wait there while waiting to be seated and order some drinks. This place is great and I definitely recommend it- especially if you love cool, trendy places with great food (who doesn't...?)

I guess some nights they transform the place into a club instead of a restaurant. It was fun because the venue is small and half of the crowd was kids I came with, but I'm sure it's not like this every night. I actually made friends with the guy who does the lights behind the DJ booth and he let me do the club lights for a bit, along with giving me the nickname of "white teeth." I wouldn't say this is the place to go if you want the best night of your life, but still pretty fun.

Paul Feinstein Oct 4, 2012 3.0 stars Decent Steakhouse So the food here isn't going to blow you away. The atmosphere though is always solid. As you walk in, you're met by the back-lit bar on the right, where late 20s to late 30 somethings are posted up in heels and jackets, ordering expensive cocktails and flirting up a storm. There's a DJ, but no one seems to really notice. People here wait for their tables or just post up for the night. To the left is the massive dining area where decked out young professionals tear into their rib-eyes the way STK's advertising seems to want them to - combining steak with sex appeal. It's always a good looking crowd, groups of girls on a night out, couples dining, but all dressed well, and clearly successful. It's not the worst place in the world to bring a date - or come with friends and flirt with the table right next to you.
