The L.A. Bluegrass Situation Music Festival Every year in May

Since 2010, Los Angeles celebrities have been reminding locals that not all of them are dumb, untalented, and thoughtless. Ed Helms of The Hangover fame annually invites his musically talented peers – and anyone who wants to watch – to The L.A. Bluegrass Situation.

The L.A. Bluegrass Situation was founded after Helms came back from Telluride Bluegrass Festival with a vision to share the bluegrass genre with Angelenos, and the masses have responded, showing up in droves to see the likes of John C. Reilly, Andrew Bird, Steve Martin, Vince Gill, and Will Arnett strum and sing catchy tunes.

Tickets for The L.A. Bluegrass Situation are normally around $40 for most shows and can reach $100 for the final show on the last of the event’s four days.
