L.A. Comedy Shorts Film Festival Film Festival Every year in April

For four days in April, comedy lovers head to the annual LA Comedy Shorts Film Festival. Held each year at the Downtown Independent Theatre in Los Angeles, the LA Comedy Shorts Film Festival features screenings, panel discussions, awards, and parties.

Award categories at the LA Comedy Shorts Film Festival include Best Comedy Short, Best-of-Fest, and Best Animated Comedy. Past winners at the festival include Josh Levy’s “The Immigrant”, Stephen Cedars’ “Speruchet Pan Tournegos”, and Greg Bro’s “Stuper Powers: Rise of the Chipmunk King”.

Past featured films at the LA Comedy Shorts Film Festival include Chris Balmond’s “Badminton Club”, Dante Russo’s “Love Letters”, and Rhian Green’s “The Co-Star”. Panels at the festival feature industry experts and leaders like Brown Johnson, Niall Madden, and Allison Kingley.
