LA Comedy Shows Overview
As the entertainment capital of the world, it shouldn’t come as any surprise that comedy shows in Los Angeles feature some of the best comedians on the planet, as well as tomorrow’s rising stars.
Anyone who is anyone in the comedy world has honed their comedic chops with epic comedy shows in LA. Everyone from George Carlin, Eddie Murphy, Chris Rock, Jerry Seinfeld, Rodney Dangerfield, Steve Martin, Billy Crystal, Dave Chappelle, and many, many others have graced LA’s comedy show stages.
For the best Los Angeles comedy shows, there are a few timeless venues that provide outlets for the biggest stars in the comedy world. For traditional venues, there’s The Comedy Store, The Laugh Factory, and the Improv. All three feature A-list comic talent, various open-mic nights, and rising stars on the comedy circuit.
Other great LA comedy shows take place at venues like The Groundlings Theatre and the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre where some of the funniest sketch comedy in the world is performed live.
