Party Earth Review: Lurking discreetly behind an unmarked entrance at the extreme west end of the Sunset Strip lies Trousdale, the hottest celebrity hideaway in town with an exclusive door policy to match. Swank and trendy, the expansive lounge is packed to the rafters three nights a week with a super-posh clientele and recognizable crowd of A-listers who never think twice about the price list. Tufted walls, black marble columns, and an impressive tiered chandelier form the backdrop for the hard-partying guests dancing themselves into a frenzy wherever they find a free space. Heavy hitters from the worlds of fashion and entertainment hold court on grey suede couches tucked into cozy alcoves, as gorgeous waitresses in skintight patent leather outfits cater to their every need. A U-shaped black marble bar in the center gives way to the V-VIP room, where upper-tier hotties and heartthrobs can enjoy a private bar, DJ booth, comfy couches, and an inviting living room décor complete with bookshelves, gold lamps, a faux fireplace, charcoal felt billiards table, and a rotating display of pricey pop art from the owner’s personal collection. On some nights, the VIP area is opened to the upscale masses, so all the aspiring ingenues and leading men in the house can drink and dance like the stars.
