Hollywood, Los Angeles –
One of the shinier and more exclusive venues in town, MyStudio is an opulent work of art in itself, with enough copper and gold details to merit its status as a gathering place for its decked out clientele.
Young models in training and actors with enough dough and good looks to get past the door will find a darkly sparkling wonderland of gold metal walls, studded leather, and enough architectural details to dazzle them for hours.
Those more interested in their fellow patrons and cocktails, however, will also find plenty to do, starting with bottle service in one of the many cozy booths or in the swanky elevated Library area, where a baby grand piano and backlit shelves filled with vintage photography manuals create a particularly luxurious atmosphere for the Hollywood hotshots and arm candy lazing on the velvet sofas.
A marble bar seductively lit by an incredible glass ball chandelier is the center of attention in the main lounge, at least until the DJ starts spinning techno and trance loud enough to whip the upscale hordes into an uninhibited frenzy that turns even the expensive leather booths into impromptu dance platforms.
Smokers can sneak to the back lounge, whose open slanted ceiling provides fresh air for the beautiful people lined up at the second bar or lingering over bubbly at the more intimate champagne bar.
Lush and decadent, MyStudio is a don’t-miss destination for stylish hard partiers who like the décor to be as striking as the crowd.
Fashionable and affluent almost-models, occasional celebrities, actors, and young professionals, with some Hollywood hipsters on Tuesdays, early to mid-20s.
DJs spin pop and R&B on Tuesdays, mainstream mash-ups on Thursdays, and Euro dance and house on Fridays and Saturdays. Occasional piano concerts.
Three-bottle minimum for bottle service.
Beer $6–$10, wine $7–$10, cocktails $9+, shots $7–14, bottle service $375+. Valet $8.
Very trendy: latest designer wear for men and women, Louis Vuitton and Gucci bags.
Thursdays for the best crowd of good-looking, fashion-savvy guys and gals, and Fridays and Saturdays for a consistently packed scene.
Las Palmas (1714 North Las Palmas Avenue) and Premiere Supper Club (1710 North Las Palmas Avenue) both offer an equally exclusive vibe and even more energetic dancing.
