Tucked away in a drab strip mall in the hipster haven of Los Feliz, Ye Rustic Inn is an otherwise average neighborhood bar catering to a loyal crowd of hip and blue-collar regulars.

A true dive, the windowless bar features a typical 80s basement décor of wood-paneled walls covered in beer ads and mirrors, as well as a classic wooden bar where drinking buddies gather to shoot the breeze or work on the latest spec script over a few cheap beers.

Though most nights see the tables packed with mingling artsy types and the after-work crowd grabbing a bite to eat, Sundays and Mondays are all about the NFL fans clad in team jerseys and baseball caps that flock in to catch the game on flat-screen TVs.

A second room with studded leather booths offers extra space for girlfriend posses and group dates to chug beer, eat some spicy wings, and yell conversations over the rock, hip-hop, and soul tunes emanating from the jukebox.

Anyone looking to hang with hipsters and grizzled regulars alike won’t want to miss Ye Rustic Inn, where the drinks are cheap and the company priceless.

You can’t leave without trying the wings, probably some of the best in town. If you want a deal, show up on a Monday between 5 and 9pm and order the pitcher of beer and twelve wings for $16. Can’t beat it!

Fridays in the early evenings for a good-sized crowd, and Saturdays for a completely packed scene. NFL Sundays for the crowd of football fans who don’t like dedicated sports bars, and Tuesdays for karaoke.

Matt Brav Mar 28, 2013 3.0 stars Pretty Good Ye Rustic Inn is a pretty good spot. I have been there a couple of times, once for a football game and another just for brunch. Each time I went the staff was very friendly and the drinks were strong. The food is consistently good. The burgers are actually very tasty not the best in LA but definetly worth a try if your hungry for food and hungry for a dive bar. I would hit this place up again just for a chill night out or some day drinking activities. I havent had the wings but I have heard good things.

Angelica Ayala-Torres Nov 15, 2012 3.0 stars Good, Even Into the Wee Hours Have had a great time at this dive every time I've gone it, minus one visit being attended to by a very drunk waitress, but even then the staff was incredibly apologetic and strove to help us out in anyway possible. This place is frequented by a lot of locals, regulars, people getting off work late (me), and the occasional celebrity. It's great for groups or to mingle and chat. There are plenty of tables and booths as well as seats at the bar. The staff, again, is really friendly and fast. The drinks are what you'd expect from a dive, but the shots and pitchers are a bit overpriced. Also, there are plenty of tvs for the sports crowd as well. This spot usually serves as my alternative to The Drawing Room, across the street, when I want to avoid karaoke going on over there. Both are the kind of bars you'll still find a crowd at until 2 am closing, and both open right back up again at 6am. Truly a dive.

Lisa Rezner Nov 1, 2012 3.0 stars Laid Back Dive Bar in Los Feliz I always found this place to be the best spot to congregate friends from all walks of life...Tuesday night karaoke is a blast or come any other night for just good jukebox tunes. The wings are delicious and will keep you thirsty all night to enjoy plenty of the cheap drinks. The crowd might be a bit "hip," but most bars in this area have that draw (I call them locals). Grab the back room area for a larger group and have your own dance party. If this place isn't sketchy or dark enough for you, take your cash and head across the street to The Drawing Room.

jsunmatthews Aug 7, 2012 3.0 stars Wings and John Hamm Yup, that's how my night went here. I ate wings with the Mad Men man himself. First of all, the wings here are amazing. Second of all, I would totally go gay for Hamm. For $10, this cave-like dive in the heart of trendy Los Feliz will give you a piping hot plate of chicken that will make a vegetarian hate themselves. I go here for Sunday brunch all the time, too, grabbing a big plate of breakfast and a bigger bloody mary for like $8. Parking sucks...service kinda can too, but hey, it's a dive. You want etiquette and pomp and circumstance you have definitely come to wrong place. Packed with hipsters on Friday and Saturday nights. Hey, it’s Los Feliz. Grittier early in the week. I LOVE YOU JON!
