London Palladium Information

The London Palladium is one of the UK’s most prestigious theaters with a reputation that dates all the way back to 1910. With a history of live televised performances and a top-notch list of musical artists who have graced the stage, the Palladium seldom fails to fill all of its 2,286 seats.

Located just off of Oxford Street in Westminster, the Palladium is in the heart of Central London – a prime location that offers ample shopping, dining and entertainment. You can spend the day browsing Oxford Street’s many posh department stores and then enjoy dinner and an evening show at the Palladium.

The London Palladium has an impressive history of acts from both British and international stars. Notable performances at the London Palladium include Frank Sinatra, Liza Minelli, and Bop Hope.

The London Palladium is currently owned by Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Really Useful Group, which bought the venue in 2000. Webber has since brought a number of well-regarded musical productions to the stage. Recent productions at the London Palladium have been The Sound of Music, The King and I, and The Wizard of Oz.

During the Palladium’s beginning years it served as a circus, a cinema, and even an ice rink.
