Home to the Queens Park Rangers FC since 1917, Loftus Road, built in 1904, is the smallest ground in the English Premier League. Located in Shepherd’s Bush, London, the 18,360-capacity stadium has four stands that meet without gaps, making for an insular atmosphere. Usually referred to as QPR, the Queens Park Rangers club has fierce rivalries with other area clubs, including Chelsea, Fulham, and Brentford.
The South Africa Road stand contains The Paddocks – the cheapest seats – and the most expensive luxury suites. Most members and season ticket holders at Loftus Road sit in the stand called the Loft, where they can find the members-only Blue and White Bar. The loudest supporters often congregate on the Ellerslie Road stand, and visiting supporters sit in the School End stand.
Due to the stadium’s small size, tickets at Loftus Road, which tend to be in the £20–£50 range, sell out quickly. Food and beverage vendors within the Loftus Road stadium sell typical sports food such as hot dogs, sausage rolls, and pies, as well as beer and wine. The nearest tube stop, White City, is a 5-minute walk away, with Wood Lane and Shepherd’s Bush Market stations a 10-minute walk.
