Tottenham Hotspur is an English Premier League (EPL) team that plays its fixtures at White Hart Lane in Tottenham, London. The current stadium was built in 1899 and can hold 36,230 fans for Hotspur matches, but a new stadium has been approved and is currently in development right next door to White Hart Lane. The club began in 1882 and has since developed a bitter and sometimes violent rivalry with nearby Arsenal FC. The Spurs have found themselves near the top of the EPL in their history, having won numerous FA cups and UEFA Europa League titles. Tottenham’s more notable players have included Jermain Defoe, Jürgen Klinsmann, and Teddy Sheringham. Hotspur tickets can be bought online or in person, but can be hard to come by during rivalry games if not a priority ticket holder.

Zac Smith Apr 25, 2013 T here is not a locale in all of London that is more exciting and enthralling than White Hart Lane. After the Hotspur 4- 1 defeat of reigning EPL Champs, Man City, the 36,000 capacity stadium is electric heading into the season finale with Chelsea. W hile the history of White Hart Lane is expansive, the club has faced a series of woes over the past seasons. Fate seems to have turned a new coin for the club, with the emergence of American football star, Clint Dempsey, and the overall fusion he has brought to the squad. History will occur at White Hart Lane in the season finale, if Tottenham can strike down Chelsea, and merge their way into the Champions League next season. Oh, what a match for the record and history books this could be, and all the while, White Hart Lane has been firmly planted in the ground, awaiting this glorious moment, not so seemingly suspended in time any longer.

Chris Morgan Nov 8, 2012 Now that Clint Dempsey joined Spurs I can root for them somewhat. They certainly don't inspire the loathing that Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal, and City do for me (as a Man Utd fan). But that may be because they don't threaten as much. Gareth Bale is a joy to watch and I hope they can pick it up a little this season. I also loved Teddy Sheringham back in the day, even before he came to Old Trafford and scored that goal in the Champions League final.

Shirish Jose Oct 6, 2012 When I think of Tottenham FC, Daniel Levy always pops up in my head! One of the most shrude business men around, he has strived to get Tottenham into the top 4 of the premier league. Tottenham are an on the up which can be seen from their steady rise in the table over the years. They have some really good young players like Gareth Bale, Kyle Walker and also have made some very effective signings over the summer. I think in a few seasons if they keep their progress they might even challenge for the title.

Southe0321 Oct 5, 2012 Spurs are one of the underdog teams that I have on my list to make a mark in this year's EPL. I truly admire Daniel Levy for making the tough decision to get rid of Harry Redknapp and install in place of him a more enthusiastic Andre Vilas Boas (AVB) who has a major point to prove after his ouster from Chelshit. Just with all the things that AVB has had to go through from the incredibly hostile English media for no real reason, I really want Tottenham to make a mark this year. Judging by they way they have started the 2012 season, I have high hopes from them and I am confident that in a few months to come I will be vindicated for my faith in them.
