Crystal Palace FC is a professional football club that plays its matches at Selhurst Park in South Norwood, London. The stadium was opened in 1924 and has a seating capacity of 26,309 for Crystal Palace matches. Crystal Palace first took the field in 1905 and currently plays in The Championship, England’s second tier division of football. Although a smaller football club by London standards, the Eagles (as they are called) have still found moments of brilliance, with a football league championship and an FA cup title under their belt.
