Jun 12, 2012 — It’s no mystery why the greatest bands in the history of rock and roll seem to come out of London. The city’s music scene is truly second to none and offers venues and styles of all types, from the gritty punk dives in Camden to rock concerts at the massive Wembley Stadium. This scene brings out London’s artists, hipsters, and creative types who are always easy to chat and chill out with.
Though some of the clubs can be a little pretentious, there are a bunch of terrific accessible venues in places like Shoreditch and Brick Lane where DJs play funk, house, or techno.
For one of the best daytime activities, Camden Market is a great place to mingle with the hordes of people browsing the stalls of food, art, clothing, and other crafts or to duck into one of the surrounding pubs for a couple of pints.
