As the largest event venue in central London, Earl’s Court Exhibition Centre has hosted many high-profile affairs, including the annual Brit Awards – up until 2010 – and volleyball matches during the 2012 Olympics. Its massive space accommodates 19,000 people, making it a favorite for large trade exhibitions, major special events, and big-name musical performers like Elton John and Madonna. Earl Court’s calendar is packed with exhibitions covering everything from dogs to cakes, weddings to skiing and snowboarding.
Built in 1935 as a space for exhibitions and conferences, Earl’s Court received an annex, Earl’s Court Two, which features a column-free 17,000 square-meter floor. The two spaces are linked. Throughout, the venue has two floors that can be divided into countless configurations for different kinds of events at Earl’s Court Exhibition Centre. Small buildings on the grounds expand the offerings.
The Earl’s Court and West Brompton tube stations are nearby. About a dozen vendors at Earl’s Court Exhibition Centre include various sandwich shops as well as restaurants serving Italian food or fish and chips.
