Clapham, London –
Sleek and sophisticated, The White House offers its well-dressed Clapham clientele a minimalist yet luxurious space in which to sprawl on long black leather banquettes and unwind to the sounds of funky house music spun by expert DJs.
Since the club’s main dance floor on the lower level is quite small, the trendy patrons tend to take advantage of any free space they can find to show off their moves, including the narrow passageway directly in front of the booths and tables.
Those who want a little extra elbow room to call their own might want to reserve the sunken VIP area in the center of the room, which features more banquettes and is set off by vertical silver rods for a bit of privacy, or they can head to the lovely roof terrace for a bit of fresh air in a soothing environment.
An upstairs area contains another bar and dance floor usually filled to capacity with hot young things in the mood to party, while members of the club can enjoy their own opulent lounge complete with a private bar and kitchen.
For those looking for a bit of glamour in South London, The White House is definitely the place to see and be seen.
