Stop #1: There is no better way to start your night out in Shoreditch than at THE Shoreditch, a quirky, two-faced joint just off Rivington Street. You’ll want to start upstairs, where the smooth sounds of live jazz and a sleek décor make for an ideal atmosphere to catch up with friends over the night’s first drinks. After you’ve pre-gamed with sophistication and are craving something more upbeat, walk downstairs to see the other face of The Shoreditch: a neon-flashing, techno rager with trendy hipsters dancing and drinking amidst the tiki-themed bar. With the fancy upstairs and the happy-go-lucky lower deck, The Shoreditch is sort of like that movie Titanic, except you won’t have to worry about crashing anytime soon.  

Stop #2: Now that the BAC is up and you’ve had a taste of dancing, it’s time to head to Cargo for the first nightclub of the evening. Its location under railway tracks on Rivington prepares visitors for the industrial, cargo-hold interior of brick and metal, but the vibes in here are anything but cold. Live bands and well-known DJs light up the main room, while those needing to cool off from dancing can head to the “chill out” room or the heat-lamp equipped patio for some fresh air. With hard-hitting music, a fun-loving clientele of dancers, and plenty of spots to just hang out, Cargo offers up something for all tastes – just please don’t take the name as an invitation to wear cargo shorts. 

Stop #3: When you’re too sweaty from getting your groove on with some lovely Londoners, and your ears won’t stop ringing, it's officially time to call a time out. In the interim, we're going to be sending you ‘through the looking glass’ to Callooh Callay, the ultra-cool Alice in Wonderland inspired cocktail lounge and members club. An excess of pretty people and Shoreditch hipsters mingle in the fantasy-evoking space of mirrors, wallpapers, and antique furnishings, so we recommend you take a comfy seat and enjoy the scenery. The handcrafted cocktails are some of the best in the city, and while you recount the first half of the night, keep sipping your concoctions to ensure that at your next stop you aren’t afraid to see how far down the rabbit hole goes.  

Stop #4: After reemerging to reality, trek a block north to 333 Motherbar, truly the mother of all Shoreditch nightlife. It’s actually broken into two venues, and you can check out the hip little Motherbar upstairs first, where the local patrons fit in with the artsy mish-mash décor for some high energy flirting and dancing. But things really get crazy downstairs at the famous 333, one of the most beloved nightclubs in London. Heavy house and electro beats pulse through the two stories of space while young clubbers get down to some outrageous late-night action. Don’t be afraid of burning a few London bridges of your own, because the end of your night at Motherbar won’t be getting back to mum.
