Party Earth Review Mirroring the same luxury standards as The Berkeley Hotel’s five-star accommodations and service, The Blue Bar is an in-house drinking den where both hotel guests and affluent visitors indulge in cocktails and caviar. Titanic in grandeur yet more like a submarine in layout, the venue retains an air of exclusivity with its ... more

Party Earth Review Located in the luxury boutique Charlotte Street Hotel, Oscar Bar & Restaurant is a swanky but very upbeat watering hole that attracts lots of folks beyond the hotel’s moneyed guests. Though most of these folks still have money, too. Subtle green-gray paint, French doors, striped awnings, and elegant ... more

Party Earth Review Paraded like a show pony down the length of the connecting passage between the lobby and the restaurant, The Long Bar is just that – an eighty-foot expanse of glowing white onyx almost as polished as the clientele. As one of the most international cities in the world and a hub of international commerce and finance, it shouldn’t come as any surprise that London has a plethora of incredible hotel bars and lounges strewn throughout the city.
The hotel bars in London are great for a number of reasons. First off, they attract such a wide range of international travelers that you’re almost always guaranteed to meet someone interesting. Second, they typically serve incredible cocktails paired with equally sumptuous food. And third, they’re usually upscale affairs that cater to a see-and-be-seen crowd as well as singles on the prowl and couples looking for a chic night out.
One of the best London hotel bars is The Blue Bar set inside the luxurious Berkley Hotel. This five-star joint is awash in blue colors and is where the city’s upper crust comes to wine and dine in an über-opulent setting. Another stunning hotel bar is Long Bar inside the Sanderson Hotel. Here, an incredibly long bar (yes that’s where the name comes from) acts like a communal dinner table where swanky daters come to nibble and sip while making eyes at each other and possibly those across the way.
There’s no mystery as to why there are so many good hotel bars in London, it’s just a matter of finding the right one for you. But regardless of which neighborhood you’re in, you’re bound to find a great hotel bar with creative cocktails and mouth-watering cuisine any day of the week.
