Venues in Ibiza

So you’re in Ibiza, you’re looking for things to do and where to go out, and you’re tired of the mega clubs. You might ask yourself – ‘what else is there to do here?’ Well, we’re going to tell you, because there are plenty of alternatives to the club scene with a good number of Ibiza venues catering to more than just big name DJs.

For starters, there’s a whole live music scene that most people never think about. And no, we’re not referring to live DJs (aren’t all DJs live?). We’re talking about rocking out at Ibiza Rocks Hotel which hosts their Ibiza Rocks Summer Concert Series and features some of the biggest bands and acts in the world. For something a little smaller, there are a plethora of jazz haunts and other small venues with soloists belting out ballads.

Okay, the live music scene isn’t enough? How about heading over to the Sunset Strip where cafés and bars are all set up for end-of-day drinking with thousands of your new best friends. The Strip has a long boardwalk and is THE go to spot to watch the sun go down on the island.

Once the sun says goodbye, and you’re still hankering for some non-club action, there are still plenty of venues in Ibiza where you can wet your whistle. Be sure to check out the nightlife areas of Playa d’en Bossa and around San Antonio Beach – but for the biggest area of unadulterated debauchery, nothing beats the West End where endless bars, clubs, and pubs service drunken crawlers deep into the night.
