Villa Mercedes

The colonial villa itself sits in the middle of the sprawling area and provides a bistro-style experience on the ground floor and a more intimate restaurant setting upstairs.

The surrounding grounds are home to several gurgling fountains as well as a chic bar and stage, a terraced dining area, and a soothing Moroccan-style lounge complete with private white-cushioned daybeds covered with billowing gauze curtains.

A night at the villa begins with live music in the bar and then moves to the lounge where the resident DJ spins music to accompany unique video projections. Communal seating areas and a network of multileveled patios – all aided by earth-toned lighting and a canopy of trees – help foster a laid-back and sociable atmosphere that provides a welcome change from the frenetic pace of most San Antonio venues.
