Ibiza Town, Ibiza –
Definitely the glitziest and most fashionable of the island’s clubs, Pacha also holds the distinction of being the only one open all year round.
But like every other venue on the island, the club really shines in the summer when lines of stylish patrons are still filing in at 5am hoping to see and be seen.
The club consists of several distinct areas, but the music here tends to be all variations of the same sexy, soulful electro house vibe. The Main Room is the largest and most intense and features famous DJs, an expansive dance floor, plenty of bars, and several balconies with a good view of the “show” below.
Those who prefer hip-hop beats will likely find them in the Global Room, while other rooms offer Spanish pop or funky house music, and a spacious terrace with deep sofas provides the perfect getaway from the chaos and crowds.
Whether the chic patrons are looking to dance to cutting-edge electronic, have a cramped conversation under the stars, or get a bit silly with some campy pop music, Pacha offers a wonderful mix of excess and elegance that lets them do it all in style.
Jet-setters, celebrities, socialites, moneyed tourists, and fashionable locals, early 20s and up.
Mostly house and trance in the Main Room; other themes vary but can include hip-hop and R&B in the Global Room, ambient music on the terrace, Spanish pop in Sweet Pacha, and funky house in the Funky Room.
See Schedule of Events for details.
Traditional Mediterranean, fusion, and Japanese cuisine served in the restaurant, which opens its expansive terrace in the summer. No food inside the club itself.
Tickets €40–€70+, up to €20 more if bought at the door. Dinner averages €70. Beer €10, mixed drinks €12, water €6.
Smart casual to dressy: sexy club wear, loose-fitting clothes or tights ones that stretch.
Any night promises a huge crowd, though David Guetta’s special brand of house music on Thursday nights is one of the most popular.
