Palais des Festivals et des Congrès Theater

Palais des Festivals et des Congrès is one of the largest and busiest convention centers in Europe, hosting up to 52 events each year in Cannes, France. Built in 1949 and expanded in 1979, the Palais is the site of the annual star-studded event, Cannes Film Festival.

The 35,000 square-meter exhibition space, managed by the Society of Mixed Economy for the Events of the City of Cannes, features 26 rooms and auditoriums fit for events that can accommodate up to 2,300 people.

Productions at Palais des Festivals et des Congrès are part of the “Going Out in Cannes” season, running from September to April, and include theater, dance, opera, circus, music, and comedy shows.

The International Fireworks Festival, the Pantiero Festival, Musical Nights of the Suquet, Jazz at Domergue, and theFestival of Russian Art are among annual summer events at Palais des Festivals.
