The Madraco Cup is an annual regatta hosted by the Société Nautique de Saint-Tropez (SNST) in November in Saint Tropez along the coast of the French Riviera. The SNST is the primary yacht club in Saint Tropez, hosting over a dozen major regattas each year.
Beginning in 1997, the Madraco Cup is a four-day event that consistently draws over 60 boats of competitive sailors striving to win the Madraco Trophy. With its banana course demanding precision maneuvering and unpredictable autumn weather, the Madraco Cup does not disappoint with challenging and exciting races each day. Past Madraco Cup winners include Java Bleu captained by Jacques Maitre and Cachou captained by Guy Curnillon.
Madraco Cup spectators can view the races on the shores of the Saint-Tropez bay as the racecourse stays close to the coast. Each night after the races there is a food and drink gathering for the participants that features provincial dishes prepared by the SNST.
