The Quay's Irish Pub

Across the street from the old port and a block away from the beach, The Quay’s is a typical Irish pub with a great view and a chatty, laidback clientele.

The cozy dark wood décor features a paddleboat hanging from the ceiling and a collection of foreign currency that pays tribute to the pub’s international regulars, as well as rustic barstools and whiskey-barrel tables where patrons gather to enjoy pints of Guinness, chilled cider, and live reggae music.

An enclosed terrace attracts a post-beach crowd that stops in after a day of seaside fun for a few cold beers, an excellent variety of whiskeys, and some good conversation.

Although the pub is particularly busy on game nights when fans cram in to catch rugby and football matches, there’s usually a good, easygoing crowd just about any night of the week.

The atmosphere is always open and relaxed, making Quay’s a terrific spot to meet new people.
