Party Earth Review: Located off the busiest pedestrian street in Antibes, The Hop Store Irish Pub’s enormous terrace is hard to miss, especially since it’s usually overflowing with a young and boisterous crowd of seasonal yacht workers who swarm in to enjoy the live rock music or to watch a game. The traditional décor of dark wood furnishings creates a cozy atmosphere, while huge flat-screen TVs tuned to sports or classic rock cover bands on the checkered stage in the back provide plenty of entertainment for the amiable clientele. A dance floor near the stage is often packed with revelers, but cramped patrons can always filter into the adjoining bar on the side for a bit of elbow room. Casual and easygoing, The Hop Store is a great place to mingle with both locals and chatty English speakers, sing along with classic tunes, and let off some steam on the dance floor.
