Irish Pub / Live Music Venue / Restaurant
|
Party Earth Review: Located on the Cours Saleya, Ma Nolan’s is an upscale Irish pub with a friendly international staff that draws in an equally diverse clientele of local regulars, expats, and English speakers. Mornings see a hungry crowd that stops by the terrace for a hearty breakfast of bacon and eggs – a rare treat in the south of France – while afternoons are given over to the after-beach set, and nights bring in a rowdy clientele ready to mingle over pints of Guinness and dance to live rock music on the makeshift mosaic tile dance floor. The pub’s enormous bar is encircled by wooden tables and booths from which boisterous groups take part in the popular quiz nights or gather to watch everything from sumo wrestling to cricket to lots of rugby and soccer on the four flatscreen TVs. Whether patrons show up for the music, the sports, or the loud conversation and a few laughs, there’s never an off night at Ma Nolan’s. ... read full review |
