Partying in the French Riviera: Fun and Budget-Friendly Things to Do in the City

Jun 13, 2012 —  There’s certainly no shortage of high-end options in the French Riviera, but that doesn’t mean that only the affluent can have a good time here.

Plenty of lively and more down-to-earth bars and dance clubs stay open just as late as their high-end counterparts, and offer a party atmosphere without the expense and pretension.

And of course the public beaches and beautiful cliffs provide fantastic spots from which to enjoy the deep blue Mediterranean.

Daytime options offer many ways to enjoy the tastes and scenery of the region, particularly on Rue Massena in Nice with its outdoor cafés, local artists, and street performers.

In general, the prices here are a little too steep, but the scenery is gorgeous and the weather in the summer can’t be beat.
