Party Earth Review: Located above the French-Asian fusion restaurant Tantra – and actually part of the restaurant earlier in the day – Loft is a classic Cannes lounge that draws a very fashionable clientele. Recessed stone walls, luxurious seating areas, unusual sculptures and artwork, and imaginative touches like faux chandeliers made of nautical rope and tassels are only part of the lavish décor, and combined with the sexy lighting and beautiful people create an upscale atmosphere perfect for sipping champagne in style. While there is no defined dance floor, some of the hottest international DJs set the mood for the well-heeled patrons who dance wherever they happen to be standing. A refreshing terrace with bright orange seating and low modern tables, meanwhile, provides a calmer place to take a Loft(y) breather and enjoy a few cocktails before heading to the nearby clubs.
