Nice, French Riviera –
Patrons in need of escape from the sometimes wild atmosphere of old town Nice might want to try Bliss Bar, an upscale haven where misty white windows guard the privacy of those who have slipped inside.
The original antique stone and low ceilings of the historic building have been combined with modern pop art and comfortable lounge furniture to create a hip environment popular with a stylish clientele of creative types and young professionals.
The main room consists of a long well-stocked bar and lounge, as well as the DJ booth and dance area, while the more subdued back room doubles as an art gallery that exhibits works by emerging artists.
Whether patrons are looking to share conversation and a bottle of wine in the mellow gallery or listen to funky underground electronic tunes and indulge in the high-energy dance scene, Bliss Bar is willing and able to oblige.
Fashionable hipsters, creative types, and young professionals, 20s and 30s.
Different DJs every night spin a variety of music including funk, rock, and hip-hop.
Platters of cheese and cured meat served until 10pm.
Platters €8. Beer €4, wine €6, cocktails €9.
Trendy casual.
Around 11pm on Thursdays and Fridays.
