Located in Florence, Italy and built in 1931, the Stadio Artemio Franchi is a soccer stadium and home to the ACF Fiorentina soccer team.
Formally known as the Stadio Comunale, the soccer arena holds just over 47,000 people and is a 30-minute walk from the city’s historic center.
The stadium has hosted many sporting events such as the International Rugby Union in 2010, and various preliminary soccer competitions for the summer Olympics in 1960.

A fun fact about the Stadio Artemio Franchi is that its architect, Pier Luigi Nervi, is also responsible for the Nervi Hall in Rome’s Vatican.
