Italian MotoGP Auto Racing / Motorsports / Sports Every Summer

The Italian MotoGP is a professional motorcycle race held every year in July at the Mugello Circuit race track in Florence, Italy. Mugello Circuit track was opened in 1974 and hosts everything from motorcycle races to F3 and Formula 1 testing races.

The Italian MotoGP is part of the Grand Prix Motorcycle racing circuit and races have been held in Italy since 1949 under varying names and tracks. In 1991, the race officially became known as the Italian MotoGP and GP races have been held at Mugello Circuit since 1994.

Past Italian MotoGP winners include Valentino Rossi, Michael Doohan, and Jorge Lorenzo.
