The stadium was opened in 1931, renovated in 1990, and has a seating capacity of 47,290 for Fiorentina games. The Viola’s first started scoring goals back in 1926 when they were just AC Fiorentina and remained as such until they went bankrupt in 2002 and reformed as ACF.
