Wine Town 2012 Food & Drink Event / Wine Festival Sep 21–22, 2012

Wine Town Firenze, a wine festival sponsored by the Italian Sommelier Association, occurs annually in piazzas all over Florence, Italy. The festival has taken place each September since 2010 and offers patrons a four-day celebration of delicious and high quality wines.

Aside from tastings of local products from over 100 participating wineries, Wine Town also features live musical entertainment, theater performances, and free admission to select museums.

Wine Town Florence is hosted in a variety of historic buildings that were once home to noble Florentine families. Some venues include Palazzo Pitti, Palazzo Nonfinito, and Palazzo Davanzati.
