Although a separate wine bar offers an impressive selection of wines, the centerpiece of the venue is the semi-circular bar with its brilliant orange glow around which the evening’s festivities orbit to the rhythm of the blasting DJ music.

A seating area lined with black leather couches and wicker box seats provides a comfortable lounge vibe for the attractive, upscale clientele, while a luxurious arrangement of lounge chairs, antique coffee tables, and a flat-screen TV create an intimate living room area.

In the summer, patrons flock to the expansive terrace to sip cocktails under the stars, while all year-long the venue hosts several dozen works by local and international artists with rotating displays of paintings, photography, sculpture, and more.

Generally laid-back in the early evening, Dolce Vita provides the upbeat vibe of a club later on when the DJ starts spinning and the volume and energy level rise.

Dolce Vita all the way

When you walk into Dolce Vita Wine Bar in Florence, your eyes do backflips. There is art on every wall and lighting to make you want to never leave. The atmosphere is cool and calm with nice light green and blue lighting, until you walk into the "party" room as I call it. Then the lights turn to everything but calm, and the vibes start submerging themselves into your soul. This bar is perfectly acquainted for everyone of every age. The live jazz being played as I walked in made me immediately start grooving to the wonderful sounds, and as I walked into the room where they were playing, there was not a person being completely still. Every person in the room was either tapping their feet, snapping their fingers, or getting wild on the dancefloor, which is where my place of choice tends to be as well. I had no drawbacks on Dolce Vita, it was an amazing place to spend an awesome night. Also, the name itself just suggests a visit might be necessary, because who doesn't was to spend some time in the sweet life?
Just what we've been looking for!

My friends and I have been looking for a place with young professionals and a more sophisticated environment, and Dolce Vita is just the place! We got free drinks inside from an excited bartender happy to make his favorites for first-time visitors, then went to sit outside. Outside was crowded but we easily got a table, and ended up meeting some great people who were stopping by for drinks after work. Going into the night we thought we would check it out and then move on to something else, but we ended up spending the whole evening there. It is the perfect spot to talk with friends and make some new ones!
