Anton Zaslavski – known professionally as Zedd – is a German producer and DJ. Zedd was born to musical parents who were the biggest influence on him becoming a classically trained musician. The producer/DJ took an interest electronic music after hearing music by the French group Justice. With the release of his first EP, The Anthem, in 2011, Zedd broke into the Beatport Electro house Top 20 and quickly became an up-and-coming star.

In 2012, Zedd signed with Interscope Records and released his debut studio album, Clarity, to commercial success behind the success of singles “Spectrum,” “Human,” and “Stache.”

Fans weren’t the only people who noticed Zedd’s talent; in 2011, Lady Gaga included Zedd’s remixes of her “Born This Way” and “Marry the Night” on the special edition of her album Born This Way.

Zedd has gone on to work with superstars like Taylor Swift, Dr. Dre, and Nicky Romero. In 2012, he co-produced Justin Bieber’s popular single “Beauty and a Beat” with Max Martin.
