Wynonna Judd

Wynonna Judd rose to prominence in the 1980s alongside her mother as part of the country music duo The Judds. The duo won five Grammy Awards for Best County Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal between 1985 and 1992 and had fourteen number one hits on the country music charts in their successful run.

In 1991, Wynonna started her solo career with her eponymous debut album and its first three singles – “She Is His Only Need,” “I Saw the Light,” and “No One Else on Earth” – all reached number one on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart en route to the record getting certified five times platinum.

Tell Me Why, Wynonna’s second album, continued the singer’s country dominance by producing five more Top Ten hits. Wynonna Judd performances became – and still are – some of the best attended in all of Country music.
