In 2005, Reed began satirizing mainstream songs by rerecording them with their lyrics exaggerated in auto-tune. Auto-tune became more common in mainstream music and Wallpaper. released his debut album Doodoo Face in 2009, which included original tracks like “Frk Scn” and “Fine GF,” and gained the group exposure in the world of electronica.

“#STUPiDFACEDD,” released in 2010, was Wallpaper.’s first hit single and its subsequent music video led to the track being played all over the nation. The following year, the group went out tour with The Dance Party and K. Flay and Wallpaper. performances became must-see events.

Wallpaper. has played his tracks at Coachella, Bamboozle Festival, South By Southwest, and on TV shows like Last Call with Carson Daly and Jimmy Kimmel Live! The performer’s unique ability to combine auto-tune and catchy melodies makes Wallpaper. tickets some of the hottest in town.
