Vampires Everwhere! is a rock band from Los Angeles that was founded in 2009 by Michael Orlando, also known as Michael Vampire. Despite the vampire fad that has developed in pop culture over the past decade, the band’s name derives from the movie The Lost Boys.
After several failed bands, Orlando began Vampires Everywhere! with Alex Hernandez, eventually adding several other members. Although the band has regularly lost and gained members over the years, it has maintained a distinguishable style that draws from the post-hardcore, metalcore, industrial rock, and shock rock genres, among others.
Vampires Everywhere! released its debut album, Lost in the Shadows, in 2010 and produced a music video for the single “Immortal Love” with Scott Hanson, who has also worked with A Skylit Drive and Alesana.
Vampires Everywhere! performances are high-energy, with deep bass, complicated guitar riffs, and powerful vocals. The band is particularly famous for its 2011 cover of Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream.”
