Tyler Hilton got his first musical break at age sixteen when Los Angeles-based radio station KLOS awarded him a spot in their Christmas concert after Hilton sang an a cappella version of a Jonny Lang song over the phone to win tickets to Lang’s concert.
Hilton was only eighteen in 2004 when he signed with Maverick Records, and shortely thereafter released The Tracks of Tyler Hilton. Recently, Hilton released his 2012 album Forget the Storm, self-described as more rock and roll than his previous endeavors.
Hilton, who grew up idolizing Elvis Presley, played a young version of Presley in the Academy Award-winning film Walk the Line. Previously, he acted on CW’s One Tree Hill, and also recorded musical covers for the show, including a spin on Ryan Adams’ “When the Stars Go Blue” with another star on the show, Bethany Joy Lenz. He has acted in music videos for the likes of Taylor Swift and appeared in the 2008 film Charlie Bartlett.
Hilton currently lives in Los Angeles when he is not touring the world. Tickets to his shows go fast, so be sure to buy yours as soon as they are available!
