The Who

With 5 Multi-Platinum albums, 12 Platinum, 18 Gold, and 17 top ten albums, The Who has earned their place in rock history. Living legends Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey keep the band going as they continue to pack out stadiums and smash guitars all around the world. Since 1964, the band has released countless chart-topping albums and hit singles.

With help from British pirate radio stations, The Who gained international attention with the 1965 single “I Can’t Explain” before debuting the iconic album My Generation. The debut reached the UK top five and gained American fans with the 1967 single “Happy Jack”, which soon hit the US Top 40.

In honor of a long and successful career, in 1990 the band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Rolling Stone names them as an integral member of “the holy trinity of British rock” along with The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. In 2001, The Grammy Foundation celebrated the music and legacy of The Who with a Lifetime Achievement Award.

The Who continues to make new music and revisit classic hits with worldwide tours. Tickets to The Who live in concert almost always sell out as fans wait for months for the chance to see the rock legends in person.
