nlaureola Oct 25, 2012 I don't know much about the Limousines, but I did see them at Outside Lands a couple years ago and thought they were pretty fun. I first heard their music in an Urban Outfitters dressing room or something, and I remember thinking that the context made the line "The kids are disco-dancing; they're tired of rock 'n' roll. Don't bother telling them that drum machine ain't got no soul." kind of ironic. They played the smallest, outdoor stage in the middle of the day, so the crowd was more than manageable. And there were a lot of people just hanging around in the area, so it all turned into a very roomy dance party. The best kind, if you ask me. I didn't even notice that the guy had blue hair, but looking back, it makes perfect sense.
