The Airborne Toxic Event

The Airborne Toxic Event is an indie rock band – made up of Mikel Jouett (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Steven Chen (guitar, keyboards), Noah Harmon (bass, backing vocals), Daren Taylor (drums), and Anna Buldrook (viola, keyboards, tambourine, backing vocals) – from Los Feliz, California.

In 2008, the band released its self-titled major debut album, which was met with favorable reviews and even named “The Debut Album of the Year” by the Boston Herald. Propelled by singles “Gasoline,” “Sometime Around Midnight,” and “Does This Mean You’re Moving On,” the album reached the top spot on the U.S. Billboard Top Heatseekers Chart.

The Airborne Toxic Event performances are always filled with adoring fans, who are appreciative of the band’s energy at live shows which include appearances on TV programs including Last Call With Carson Daly, Late Night with Conan O’Brien, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and Jimmy Kimmel Live!
