March 21 and March 22, Tribe will be releasing funky electronic rock melodies throughout the walls of the Georgia Theatre in Athens, GA. Sound Tribe Sector 9, more formally known as, was born in Atlanta, Georgia. As a fellow ATLien, you can imagine how proud this makes me. A decade of playing at venue after venue across the world has resulted in an average of 5,000 ticket sales per city. And with the meteoric success in the world of music, the band will only continue to grow. STS9 is hitting the nation sporadically on its Spring 2013 tour. From Colorado to Illinois to Atlanta then to New York then to Florida. Not to mention, they will be performing at festivals such as Wakarusa, Camp Bisco and All Good. STS9 testifies that their goal is clear: bring the music to the people in the most conscious, unique innovative and savvy ways possible. Seems like they are well on their way to accomplishing it!
