Steve Angello Bio
Born in Greece in 1982, Steve Angello is a DJ, producer, and record label owner. He was raised in Stockholm, Sweden and discovered a passion for music at a young age. He began by spinning records and soon moved on to creating house beats and performing in Stockholm’s club scene.
Angello is a member of the supergroup Swedish House Mafia, which includes DJs Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso. This group is widely considered a pioneer of progressive house music and prides itself on its collaborations with other famous artists, including Laidback Luke and Usher.
Angello emerged onto the electronic music scene in 2004 when he released his remix of Eurythmic’s “Sweet Dreams.” He has since been classified under a number of genres, including house, progressive, tech house, and electro house.
Steve Angello spent several years touring with Swedish House Mafia, whose tickets were incredibly sought after. Currently, Angello is focusing on his record label, Size Records, which represents some of the most famous electronic acts in the world, including Tiesto, Deadmau5, and Avicii.
