Ryan Cabrera

Ryan Cabrera is an American pop singer and musician best known for his single “On The Way Down,” released in 2004, which became a top ten hit on the U.S. singles chart. The song belonged to the album Take It All Away, which peaked at the number eight spot on the U.S. album chart. “True,” a single on the same album, hit number eighteen on the U.S. singles chart and number eight on the U.S.a pop chart.

Born in Dallas, Cabrera was influenced heavily by Dave Matthews Band. Prior to his solo career, Cabrera impressed crowds and industry professionals alike with his work as an acoustic guitarist for Rubix Groove, who opened for Third Eye Blind and Cheap Trick. In 2010, Cabrera appeared on many episodes of The Hills, as well as the E! Television show Pretty Wild. Cabrera has dated Hollywood starlets Audrina Patridge and Ashlee Simpson.

Cabrera has released four studio albums, with his most recent being The Moon Under Water (2008). In 2012, he released “Home” and “I See Love,” two singles from an untitled upcoming album.
