Born as Robin Miriam Carlsson in 1979, the Swedish pop star Robyn has made chart-topping dance hits since her debut in 1997. With the single “Do You Know (What It Takes)” off Robyn Is Here, the singer attracted an international spotlight. Robyn continues to make popular dance tracks and brings her live concerts all over the world.
In honor of Robyn’s phenomenal live shows in 2008, she was awarded with a Swedish Grammis for Best Live Act. In 2010, she released Body Talk Pt. 1 and the single “Dancing on My Own” was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording in 2011.
Robyn continues to ride her wave of success with a live tour in support of Body Talk Pt. 3, which was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Dance/Electronica Album in 2012. Tickets to Robyn live in concert usually sell out early to diehard fans eager to catch a glimpse of her award-winning performances.
