Lamar Oct 12, 2012 The more Maybach Music, the merrier. "God Forgives, I Don't" carries on the Mayback Music traditional sound with soulful beats, grimey street lyrics, dabbed with today's most respected artists. This was more of a status album to me with the features that Ross grabbed. The Dr. Dre and Jay z featured track "3 Kings" should be tied for most historical on this album next to the 3 Stacks featured "Sixteen." It's good to hear Dre vent on a track every now and then and even better to hear Jay-z speak on his daughter with such passion as if he she's in the booth with him. The Mayback Music title track series has been better in the past in my opinion, but Ne-yo was definitely the right heavy hitter to tap on for part 4. We all look forward to what crazy verse Andre 3 Stacks is going to drop any time we see his name on the tracklist. On "Sixteen" he definitely went all out and murdered it. The Omarion track "Ice Cold" soundsmore like a Chris Brown or Trey Songz track in my opinion, but he still did his thing. Its good to see Rick Ross supporting his newest rnb addition. We All enjoy that poetry Wale spits at us like on "Diced Pineapples" and those raw and uncut verses Meek Mill gives us with "So Sophisticated" There were a few fill in tracks in my opinion, but I like how Rozay is not afraid to hold his own even when having access to the biggest artists in the game. Never overdoing it with the features. This is definitely a front to back played album. The Nas feature will undoubtedly become a classic. 1 of the hardest tracks on this album. Any time Nas opens up a track, he kills it. I would have liked to see an up and coming west coast artist on his album even Rockie Fresh his newest signee. The track "Touch N You" featuring Usher really didnt move me, but sometimes the biggest hits end up growing on us. This album definitely solidifies MMG as 1 of the strongest crews in the game. Ross has definitely improved he's 1 of the bosses now and that MMG will continue to create their own sound and add to their empire.
